It is that time of year again - on Saturday July 12th we will come together for the BNA Roth Annual Neighborhood Picnic!  The BNA will provide grilled burgers & hot dogs, side dishes and non-alcoholic drinks.  Scott Niesen's band The Remotes will play music throughout the day.  Bring chairs or a picnic blanket and a dish to share (not required but always appreciated).   Come for the great food, awesome music and to meet your neighbors! Everyone is invited and the food is free!  So come and bring your kids, your dog and your favorite neighbor.   Everyone is welcome! Volunteer for the Picnic here!   Save the date! SMILE BOAT PARADE Saturday August 23rd 11 AM North Waterfront North and Northeast residents and businesses invite water-loving Portlanders and Washington neighbors to experience Portland’s “North Waterfront” in the best way possible––on the water!  This year’s theme? A Tropical Cruise!

On Saturday, August 23 2025, the Parade will kick off at 11:00 AM.  Boats of all sizes and shapes will meet at the east end of Hayden Island (just east of the Portland Yacht Club), and cruise down river following the  “smiling” curved path through the picturesque Columbia River North Portland Harbor, spanning two river miles. Immediately follow the parade, join the neighborhood back at the east end for snacks and a party!   Register for the Parade here! Located in the Harbor One Marina, Sabor del Río, which translates to “Taste of the River,” is a family friendly Puerto Rican Restaurant run by the Morales Family.  Think tacos, burgers, sandwiches, salads and beer + wine - all with great views of the North Waterfront.  Plenty of  boat parking or you can park your car at the Harbor One Marina and walk to the end of the dock, just follow the signs.   Let's all welcome Sabor del Rio to the neighborhood!  Video: Living the American Dream at Harbor 1 Marina | Sabor del Río Café Know someone from the neighborhood we should feature?  Columbia Community Bible Church Community Yard Sale  Saturday July 19th 9 AM - 3 PM 420 NE Marine Drive The Columbia Community Bible Church is having a yard sale on July 19th and the surrounding community is invited to participate.  If you would like to sell please bring a table or a blanket to display your items.  There is no charge for the use of the space. Come @ 8:00 am to choose a spot and set up your items on the back lawn area of the property.  About 18-20 spaces are available for sellers. Up to $20,000 in Expo Future sponsorship is budgeted for awards made between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026.
